Authentic Roots Oncology Massage Training

No prior oncology experience is required! This course is designed for massage therapists of all backgrounds who want to build confidence, safety skills, and a deeper understanding of working with clients affected by cancer.

Most students complete the online modules in about 6-8 hours total. The course is self-paced, so you can move through the material at a speed that fits your schedule - but all modules and quizzes must be completed before the in-person training dates.

Because hands-on practice is a critical part of oncology massage education, attendance at the full in-person training is required for certification. If an emergency arises, we will do our best to accommodate you at a future in-person session.

This training is designed for Registered Massage Therapists looking to expand their skills and confidence in working with clients affected by cancer, including those in active treatment, recovery, or survivorship. All levels of experience are welcome.

The answer is yes! NHPC (Natural Health Practitioners of Canada-15CEC's) / CMMOTA (Canadian Massage & Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association-24 CEC's) / MTAA (Massage Therapist Association of Alberta-35 Primary PD Credits) / ARMTA (Alberta Regional Massage Therapy Association- 32 CEC) / & approval with other Provincial Massage Therapy Associations are currently in progress.

The online module is hosted through Thinkific. You’ll receive access upon registration, and it must be completed before attending the in-person training.

Our next in-person training will be held in Bonnyville, Alberta at ReJenuvate Massage & Wellness Clinic. Future courses may also be offered in other locations, and new dates and venues will be announced after they are confirmed.
